Hot Air Ballooning ~ Hunter Valley ~ The AIPP Nikon Event 2012

An uplifting post (pardon the pun), while I work on getting the blog and website updated.  We have been so busy and the poor blog has suffered.  There is so much to share with you, so thank you for your patience.

As part of my professional development, I attended the annual AIPP Nikon Event at the end of August.  There were just under 500 professionals in the field of photography in attendance and the week was an amazing feast of inspiration, information, technology and social events.  More to come in another post.

On the Wednesday morning, a group of us went Hot Air Ballooning.  There was an incredibly thick fog which delayed our departure.  Watching the sunrise over waves of fog in the valley was just beautiful and when we finally got up in the air, the experience was breath-taking.  I generally try to pick my favourite six or seven images to show…  so here are fifteen…  🙂
