I’m Still Here

Wow, it’s been over two weeks since I last posted here – I’m sorry!  I know there are a lot of people checking here everyday to see how our new little James is going.

James is awesome!  He still doesn’t have the day/night thing worked out yet and some nights I’m up to him four or more times!  Last night was the best – I only got up twice to him.  He is now smiling and starting to gurgle his happiness.  The kids are beginning to gain interest in him, as he slowly becomes more interactive.  It’s a beautiful process to watch.

I took all four kids to visit Mum & Dad (1.5hr drive away from home).  We had a lot of fun, especially taking this photo….

…poor James was crying and Mum was beside herself wanting to pick him up.

Our renovations are progressing.  The kitchen is all in except the kitchen island, which I won’t build until I have somewhere to put our make shift (trestle) kitchen table.  I am now in the exciting process of packing everything back into my kitchen where I’d like it!  Yay!!

During the week we had the electrics fixed.  We needed a new switchboard to cope with all our changes.  The mob we employed is a husband and wife team and were so very nice.  The wife loved James (and all the kids) and told me she has five children herself.  Get this….  when I came home from picking the kids up from school (the electricians stayed in the house all day), I found that the wife had cleaned my bathroom, toilet and swept most of upstairs for me!!  How sweet is she?
